Staffcare relaunches as Zest and introduces cutting-edge employee benefits technology

Staffcare, one of the leading pioneers of the employee benefits market, today announced that it is relaunching its business as Zest and, simultaneously, launching its new benefits technology platform. This marks the culmination of a multi-million pound, three year investment programme by the business with the support of its parent, The SimplyBiz Group, which acquired Staffcare in 2013.

Commenting on the launch, Ray Sieber, Managing Director of Zest, said: “Today marks a major shift for the business and the market. The current technology on offer in this sector still dates back to the concepts that existed when the employee benefits technology sector started, and the market requirements have moved on and matured since then.

“Today’s market expects modern, flexible, device independent software that is quick to set up, easy to maintain and simple to use,” Sieber continued. “Above all, it needs to truly achieve the ultimate aim of dramatically easing the burden of administration. No different really to what you have come to expect of other more mature technology sectors.

“We are fortunate to have been in this market for over 13 years and to have an employee benefits user base of over 300 mid-sized and large companies to inform our development programme, as well as longstanding, expert staff to guide us. This experience and access to expertise has allowed us to evolve an all new approach that we believe will set the direction for the next decade and beyond.

“Given such a paradigm shift in the industry, the business also felt that it was the right time to rename itself in a way that reflected the fresh, new approach to the market and better represents its dynamic and vibrant culture. With effect from today the company will be called Zest Technology Ltd.

“The change to our company name, and the public launch of our new brand and website demonstrates our enthusiasm for this exciting next chapter. The initial reaction from our existing clients has been fantastic and we look forward to welcoming them onto the new platform”

Zest’s Head of Product, Graham Meinke, added: “Zest has been built from the ground up to deliver the ultimate benefit experience for employees and employers alike and we feel the launch of this brand new benefits platform marks an exciting day in the industry

“Zest significantly reduces the time and cost of implementing benefits technology, offers a seamless employee experience and provides simple tools that reduce the administrative burden for employers. Zest’s goal is to help employers achieve their corporate reward objectives whilst saving time and money in the process.”
