On Demand: Wellbeing Washing webinar

Watch our webinar, Wellbeing washing to real impact: Building a unified employee proposition for a multi-generational workforce, today!

Are your wellbeing programmes truly effective?

At Zest, we believe that a failure to address the real needs of employees can have a damaging impact on both trust and engagement.

Our research has recently found that 56% of employees are saying that they would leave their job if another company offered better benefits, meaning now is the time for employers to ensure their employee wellbeing proposition is relevant for a multi-generational workforce.

Last month, Our Chief Product and Innovation Officer, Graham Meinke, presented key findings from our latest research, exploring how businesses can avoid superficial initiatives and instead implement meaningful, measurable strategies that truly prioritise employee wellbeing.

During the insightful session, graham also dived deeper into other areas that include:

  • Why we should care about employee wellbeing.
  • How to build an unified employee proposition that that protects and promotes good employee wellbeing.
  • Why your broader employee proposition is vital in addressing employee wellbeing.
  • How you can leverage technology to ensure that people understand your employee proposition and how it promotes good wellbeing.

‘There is no silver bullet’

During the webinar, Graham discussed holistic approaches and why it’s important to integrate both personal *and* organisational factors into your wellbeing strategy.

‘There is no silver bullet.

‘If you’re thinking that countering high job demands and a lack of job resources is going to be the hardest part of your wellbeing strategy, then it’s also likely to be the most impactful. If you don’t address these factors, there’s a greater risk that you’re employees will perceive your organisation to be guilty of wellbeing washing, however well intended and executed our strategy at addressing the personal factors of employee wellbeing.

‘The good news is that the organisational attributes required to promote good wellbeing align closely with those that promote high performance. Don’t let people think this is about doing less, it’s about doing it better.’
