Leading benefits platform Zest has appointed experienced international marketer, Liliana Teixeira, as its new Head of Marketing.

This announcement is the first senior hire since the recent appointment of Matt Russell as CEO, who is committed to expanding Zest’s senior leadership team to drive future growth of the business.

Teixeira has nearly a decade of experience in international marketing, specialising in sustainability and world-class innovation projects. Prior to Zest, Teixeira spent five and a half years as a Marketing Manager at boutique advertising organisation, Ocean Outdoor, and time as a Senior B2B Marketing Manager at booking and management platform, Eola. Most recently, she held the position of Head of Marketing at software development company, Snap It LTD.

Teixeira’s most notable project, Ocean for Oceans, involved the delivery of numerous campaigns to raise awareness of plastic pollution and helped the Marine Conservation Society to increase their income by 81% and membership by 64%.

Zest is an employee benefits platform that offers flexible benefits services for a wide range of well-known businesses across the world, including Hargreaves Lansdown, Taylor Wimpey, ADP and Travis Perkins.

As Zest marks its 20-year anniversary, Teixeira will play a critical role in Zest’s future growth under the new direction of Russell. Ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with Zest’s values and business objectives, Teixeira plans to spearhead the revamp of Zest’s brand identity, boosting its position as a market-leading employee benefits platform.

Liliana Teixeira, Head of Marketing at Zest, commented: “It is great to be at the forefront of Zest’s marketing and growth story. As businesses are increasingly prioritising employee benefits and wellness, it is no secret that the flexible benefits market is a growing one – increasing by 13.5% annually until 2030.* The business is uniquely placed to grasp this opportunity and cement its position as the benefits provider of choice for businesses looking to develop personalised benefits packages and maximise value for money – all whilst boosting employee experience and supporting customers to attract and recruit talent.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role to drive Zest’s success even further and to work with the talented team at Zest to elevate our marketing strategy to new heights.”

Matt Russell, CEO at Zest, commented: “I am delighted to have Lili on board as part of Zest’s senior leadership team. With her experience, passion and skill, she will play a key role in meeting the company’s ambitious growth plans to better its market-leading bespoke benefits packages and ensure that the offering consistently matches the needs of employers and employees alike as we all navigate the new world of work.”

Following a year of major sales wins, Teixeira’s marketing initiatives will feed into broader business goals. Over the next 12 months, Zest will use its expanded Product and Development team to better its data insights offering and refine its leading solution to provide an unrivaled personalised benefits experience for clients and their employees.
