Zest named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work

  • Employee benefits play key role in creating a strong employee experience – half (52%) of all workers in the UK say that rewards packages are the most important thing they look for in a workplace.
  • Six in ten (58%) of employees say they would leave their current workplace for a better benefits package.

Employee benefits technology provider, Zest, has been named on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in the UK list.

In the survey, Zest was ranked excellent for a number of categories including employee happiness, wellbeing, confidence in management as well as diversity and inclusion.

Zest initiatives that were recognised in the nationwide workplace survey include:

  • Career development and learning initiatives including its “Lunchtime Learnings” webinar series on topics such as inclusive leadership, resilience and mindfulness.
  • Strong benefits offering including access to private medical insurance, dental insurance, health and wellbeing funds and discounts such as gym memberships, will writing, and on travel and holidays.
  • Support for employees to increase pension savings – using salary sacrifice to ensure employee salaries maximises retirement savings.
  • Confidential support for employees with neurodivergence. This includes financial assistance for assessments, robust supportive policy and flexible working practices to enhance comfort, inclusion and productivity.

Benefits packages are one of the key factors in supporting employees and ensuring an engaged and productive workplace. Half (52%) of workers who say that rewards packages are the most important thing they look for in a workplace, rising to two thirds (66%) among under 35s.

Strong reward packages are vital to support and retain talent. Six in ten (58%) employees say they would leave their current workplace for a better benefits package, so HR leaders need to ensure they are offering competitive benefits.
